Yes. Falak has no paid plan, no license key and no usage meter. You install it on your own server and use every feature.
Your servers (the Falak host and the machines it manages), optional S3-compatible storage for off-site backups, bandwidth beyond what your provider includes, and domain names. Prices are whatever your provider charges; many offer flat monthly pricing.
The production installer expects the Falak host to run only Falak, with apps on separate servers that Falak manages. That keeps the control plane isolated from your workloads.
Falak automates the routine work: falak-ctl update backs up and rolls back on failure, falak-ctl backup and restore cover the control plane, agents upgrade from the panel, and servers are provisioned for you. You still own OS-level decisions and should keep off-site backups.
